SCAM ALERT!
June 22, 2023 | Our members have alerted us to two scams happening right now. One is from a group called PTSO saying they are working “hand-in-hand” with Green Country on disaster recovery efforts. The other is for mortgage refinance or forbearance through a group called Optimus. Neither group is legitimate. Do not give callers like this your personal information. We are not working with either and have not instructed them to call any of our members on our behalf.
We do have some really great members who are skilled in many areas – plumbing, electrical, contractors, landscape, etc. We also have an in-house mortgage group. If you are in need of help after the storms and you don’t know who to call, we’d be happy to point you to some legitimate companies.
