CO-OP SHARED BRANCHING
Co-op Shared Branches are credit union locations where customers from other credit unions can conduct banking business — like in-person deposits, loan payments, and other transactions.
To use another credit union’s services while traveling:
- Make sure they’re part of the CO-OP Shared Branch network
- They’ll have the CO-OP logo displayed and be listed here: https://co-opcreditunions.org/locator/
- You’ll need to provide:
- Your Credit Union’s name (that’s easy, Green Country FCU)
- Your Account Number (or Member Number)
- A Government-issued ID
That’s it! — it’s business as usual, even on vacation.
ATM access galore!
With nearly 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs — that’s more than most of the biggest banks! And it includes locations where you shop, like QuikTrip, 7-Eleven, Costco and more.

IDCheck
Validate your ID before you visit a Shared Branch location to ensure a smooth visit.
IDCheck is a new tool to help prevent fraudulent activity on Shared Branch accounts. this tool allows the member ID to be verified as a valid ID and verify the members information to their issuing credit union account information.
Visit verify.coop.org to get started.
If you bank at one of our Shared Branch locations, a teller can now identify and authenticate members in the branch using a QR code and one-time passcode multi-factor authentication verification. This additional layer of authentication – called IDCheck – will be used for loan payments, cashier’s checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and account inquiries.
